What began as a freelance customer support role turned into one of the most transformative chapters of Eglė Jakimonė’s career. Today, she is the co-founder of Her Bodhi, a women’s hormonal health brand and one of Kilo Ventures’ most successful products.
From Customer Support to Leadership
When Eglė first joined the Kilo group, the company had just launched its first product in the U.S. She started by answering customer inquiries, but her role quickly expanded. After freelancing for a short while, she was offered a permanent position — not only responding to requests but also helping to shape the company’s entire customer support structure.
“At first, I hesitated,” she recalls. “I was working in marketing elsewhere, but the chance to build a customer support department from scratch — and influence product development through customer feedback — was irresistible. I loved that the company was creating products not only for Europe, but also for the U.S., and that health and wellness were at its core.”
Her instincts proved right. Eglė soon became head of customer support, managing a team that grew to around 100 people. At one point, she considered leaving, but instead transitioned into operations — a move that opened the door to product development.

“Working in the Kilo group has shaped me both personally and professionally. The opportunities here are enormous, and the company itself has evolved so much over the years.”

Creating Her Bodhi
Today, Eglė leads Her Bodhi, a product designed to support women through menopause.
“The idea for a menopause-focused product was already being discussed at Kilo Ventures — they just needed someone to take ownership, and I volunteered,” she says. “The more I learned about menopause symptoms, statistics, and stigma, the more motivated I became to help women and raise awareness.”
Her mother’s experiences also played a role:
“I spoke a lot with my mom and learned from her journey. In a way, she helped build this product too.”
Her Bodhi’s supplements target common menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disturbances, and mood swings. But for Eglė, it’s not just about supplements — it’s about education and empowerment.
“There’s no magic pill. That’s why we also share advice on lifestyle, nutrition, and natural methods to ease symptoms. I want to help women see menopause as a beautiful new stage of life, not something to fear.”
The Power of Feedback
From the beginning, customer feedback has been central. Families of colleagues — mothers, sisters, aunts — were among the first testers. Today, reviews continue to shape product improvements and inspire the team.
“One customer’s husband wrote to tell us that his wife’s night sweats decreased so much that they no longer had to wake up and change the sheets. It may sound small, but good sleep transforms a family’s daily life. Feedback like this keeps us going.”
Growth Through Community
For Eglė, Kilo’s strength lies not only in the products it develops and grows, but also in its people.
“It’s motivating to work alongside such diverse, talented colleagues. As new products scale, these people often become leaders in their own right. We also have the Kiloverse ecosystem — a backbone of experienced teams that support every stage of growth.”
She credits the company’s culture of speed, courage, and action for much of her growth:
“As co-founders, we live this every day. With determination and the right support, we can build something meaningful out of the chaos.”
